Haha, I was at Crown on Sunday. Just eating lunch though, I don't think the big tough security guards would agree with my ID if I tried to gamble.

[/ QUOTE ]

Im just too lazy to find a fake to play with though :P, but im 18 on friday so its aiiight

anyone know what the rake is like on the 5/10nl tables? how often do these games run too?

also, is crown offering a better VIP card yet for higher limit poker players other than just getting free parking and free fish and chips or whatevr it is...

Rake at 5-10 at Crown is $25 hour time charge, no drop taken. It was the sweetest game going when it was 2k buy in, but they recently changed it to 1k max which really sucks.

Friends with Arkles eh?

I'll give you the rundown of Crown's games, and I would know.

1/2 NL: Rake is horriffic, players are worse. You can beat it easily though. Long sessions are key, you must build a stack and play to what I call the 'bonus round' which occurs from 1am-4am i.e when the players are extra bad. Preferably Thurs-Sat. This offsets the small stack sizes..

2/3 NL: They say its the best value game in crown. They are wrong... It is a joke however and if you are any good and have any money you should get here ASAP I suggest 2k.

2/5 NL: This game is also a joke. Most of the regs are too loose and too weak... whatever beat them, on weekends this game can get crazy... Get here ASAP

5/10 NL: Definately tougher than 2/5, but not that much so, however can be bad with certain lineups.

10/20 NL: Same as 5/10

25/50 NL: rarely gets up

5/10 FL: I used to own this game when I first started, however when I say 'own' I mean 1bb/hr. GHEY! The Greeks play Manila cards they are bad, Turn raise=2 Pair, do not pay off!! One hundred people see every flop.

10/20: Amazing game full of fish. Beat it for 1bb/hr unless your handicapped. I beat it for more

20/40: Not Amazing still awesome!

50/100: Why cant this get up some time???

1/2 PLO: THE BEST GAME IN TOWN

5/10 PLO: See Above!

Please dont try and guess who I am, as I keep a low profile there, most people dont even think I'm a winner due to my 'always losing' stories and discreet chipstacking...
