I've gotta say...one of the most entertaining parts of this whole season of Idol has been Vegan's posts. The unintentional comedy rating is just through the roof.

I have this theory that Vegan is actually Granny's alter ego, which explains why Granny hasn't been too active in discussions this season. I fear it'll be a mystery forever, however...

I had a more bizarre theory that Vegan was a psychic that could predict the future, and that Lakisha actually does wins. I mean, what kind of sane person actually loads up on Lakisha when she's always the favorite to go home.

I'll tell you one thing - if Lakisha does well this week and survives, Vegan will most likely be laughing at us. Doesn't seem like she has a chance of winning though.

I did, I did. Simmons severely alienated me with his repeated unprovoked shots at Seahawk fans after Super Bowl XL (nothing irks me like a Boston fan acting like he's from a tortured sports city), but I still do enjoy a lot of the man's writing, especially about pop culture stuff.
