Obv is sucks to lose to runner runner etc, but when you're sitting around giving free cards and betting 1/3 pot with three to a straight on the board, you are going to get sucked out on sometimes and your opponents don't have to make a single mistake against you to do it. Slowplaying with less than a straight against multiple opponents is just begging for trouble. (Sometimes it can be correct, but you did it twice in this tiny sample that you posted.)

Anyone else agree that this is some serious trolling based on thread content rather than who poster is (not just in this thread)? Everytime someone writes about a downswing Hov is right along telling us how much we all suck at poker and that we know nothing about "running bad." NEWS FLASH HOV: WE DO! You're downswing is a combo of bad/exploitable HU play and variance that comes w/ playing HU. Go back to 6max or something. NATION: i just wrote something up on running like crap here. Pretty standard/boring stuff I suppose but maybe you'll find it helpful to objectively deal w/ your results.

thanks for the kind words...you have no idea how much better it made me feel about all this crap. im going to take it easy for the next few days, then go on my cruise with slider, get wasted and have a complete blast. after that, i'll come back, move into our hermosa house, and put my head down and get to work with a clear head. -nation
