I hope John Daily can hold on to his lead he is so cool

Who the heck is John Daily?

However John Daly is anything but cool. His talent is amazing, but when you're a drunk and a wife beater among other things, I just don't think that's too cool.

John Daley is a wife beater? If you're talking about the current wife, he doesn't beat her enough.

I'll be interested to see if Scott Verplank is in contention over the weekend. He's gotta be used to playing in these conditions, but it must suck to be diabetic when it's 178 degrees and humid.

Wow. How about that? The least in shape player in the field is leading the tournament. Sure am glad the heat is wreaking havoc on this tournament.

People say the funniest things.

BO

[/ QUOTE ]Indeed, i believe BO, you said the heat wouldn't be a factor, and no-one would even mentio nit. It appears what Daly said was he didn't evn have a practice round BECAUISE IT'S SO HOT. Duh!

I think I recall that he is using an insulin pump, if so he actually might have problems regulating his blood glucose, as the insulin in the tube from the pump to his body gets destroyed by the heat. But as he is a seasoned campaigner, he has been through this before, so he should be ok.
