Re: Well known tournament players who really post about poker
The most ironic thing about this jerk is he may have indirectly answered Sirio's original inquiry as to why good players are hard to find as posters.

Re: Well known tournament players who really post about poker
OK, I deleted my last post. Whatever...u guys have your little fraternity here, just like they are forming in Mid-High. I know its impossible to crack, so I wont try. Lloyd clearly overstepped his modding thats all I know. Give us a warning or whatever, but dont erase 7 posts with content involved. I am sure Atticus is not happy that all his thoughts got censored either

Re: Well known tournament players who really post about poker
[ QUOTE ]
With all due respect, I take a great deal of offense to that comment. Whatever is happening at WPT or OOT does not happen here. But I'm not letting a thread be hijacked by two people attacking one another. They can do that privately. [/ QUOTE ] You just caused the hijacking by deleting the post. Look at the next posts in the thread. Everybody on this board is an adult (legally) and should be able to take a few insults in stride. They don't need a mod to come in and protect them. Had either started talking about how ugly the other's wife is, then i would agree with the deletions. |

Re: Well known tournament players who really post about poker
It's funny how the posts of players that have made millions of dollars playing poker are being banned and deleted, so that the regulars can keep straight who made the party 10 dollar rebuy final table. Perhaps that type of moderation isn't best in the long run.

Re: Well known tournament players who really post about poker
This forumn freckin needs to cut every damn sweat thread.
It needs to be somewhere else. MTT Strategy and MTT Fanfare. Separate. |

Re: Well known tournament players who really post about poker
Is it really a big deal? There are like 3 sweat threads on my first page (i can't count, maybe 30 are shown) or maybe 6 if you include the 'official' threads.
-- And as for what JV said.. that's a pretty smart ass thing to say, so if you win millions playing poker.. that means you can be a [censored] on a poker forum? Maybe being at a $10 Final table isn't a big deal to you, but it is to some people, and i really dont see a problem with people sharing that. |

Re: Well known tournament players who really post about poker
I don't think any of the people I am referring to are out of line. However, even if they were a little out of line, this is a strategy forum and in the interest of getting better I certainly would put up with a smart ass comment from time to time. The people running this forum are obviously unwilling to put up with any level of disruption in the interest of putting out higher quality poker discussions. So be it, but that to me, means a continually declining forum.

Re: Well known tournament players who really post about poker
If you don't mind me asking, who are you referring to?
The only people i've seen banned/suspended are people that had it coming, and/or didnt have anynthing good to say anyway. |
