I am too lazy to put in more than one picture since it takes me way too long but I thought this was worth sharing.

And, I don't have the luxury of playing on Party. Like vegan I won't be graphing in dollars or discuss sites but mostly playing the big ones anyway.

siiiiiick! HUHU in there?

There is a small amount of HU in there but thankfully it only drags my winrate down a little.

i bet he folds more than everyone (af). clearly he is the boss

this is so true. I can only imagine what my cashier window would look like if I folded half the times i made "crying calldowns" lol.

solid_p, dude, I'm not kidding, plz consider taking me on as a project--can you turn a halfway smart and eager, but extra-leaky low/mid limit dweller into the machine you clearly have become?

[/ QUOTE ]

ive read all your posts in this thread and have bit my tongue but now have to ask - seriously wtf are you talking about. yes he is crushing but he's crushing 5/10 and 10/20. those games are so so different than 30/60-100/200, which i was under the impression you play (maybe i am wrong about that, in which case ignore this post).

[/ QUOTE ]

Joker, your stats post with the 300k is so siiick. You win the e-peen measuring contest and it isn't close. Nice work.

However, there still needs to be mad props going out to the lowish mid limit guys crushing that hard since the impact of the rake is so much more significant on their winrate. The skill set to beat bigger games is different but solid P's stats are so impressive there is no doubt he would be fine in all but the toughest games. It really is too bad some of us are such pussies but risk aversion and playing (as Deathdonkey termed it) +sanityEV has a place as well for long term health and wealth.

I've made a pretty good living for the past three years off mostly 10/20 (2.38/100 last 110k hands), but I'm pretty sure I'm a lifetime loser in 30/60. If I'd never gone above 15/30 I'd probably have made an extra 20K a year.

perhaps its a mental barrier. The games don't look that tough, maybe I've just had real bad luck who knows.

I doubt there is a poker player in the history of the game that runs worse than me when shot taking. Running good when paying up initially is one of the most important aspects of a good player. You, like me, must suck.

No I didn't miss it. I was just reinforcing it. BTW, when I said you won the dick measuring contest I didn't mean anything derogatory at all. Your few months earnings dwarf many of our career earnings so I meant that you indeed are the man.

Move up to 5/10 online 400bb downswing, 15/30-20 online busto like 50bb shot, 30 stud 8 busto shot, 30 2-7 busto 75bb shot, 75 live -6k, 150 live -10k. I have never won when taking a shot. I brutalized Ocean's 40 when I first moved up but I don't count it as a shot when I have >300 bets. I can only hope all the failure is just buildup for running the best I've ever run at like 4/8. I seem to have somehow incorporated my shot taking luck into my overall poker game lately and I don't really like it at all.

oh ok. also someone (maybe you?) said something about DD playing pursuant to +sanityEV which is something ive been thinking alot about lately. ive tried it a few times - playing 15/30 or thereabouts where i'm pretty sure i'm at least playing a 2bb/100 edge and therefore avoiding alot of variance. i was actually talking to gehrig the other day about doing this. the games these days are ripe for the sickest swings - both short and long term - that anyone has ever seen and frankly it's slowing driving me to the brink of insanity. however, playing low gets really boring (at least for me) and i dont take it seriously and don't even play that well. does anyone have any tips on how to combat this? DD, how do you make it interesting for yourself?
