Holy friggin' crap. I ignored this thread for days because...well, to be honest, because it was titled "Today I became a pro." Finally, last night, after seeing it was (then) 50+ pages and hadn't left the front page and had a little flame bursting next to it, I went ahead and opened it. I read like 35 pages last night, and just now caught up. Wish I had opened this on day one....now I'm just bandwagon.

This is awesome. Best of luck to you wickss, and thanks for the updates MJ. I look forward to following your success.

LOL, earning $100+ aday is what is in question- not if he could survive on $700 weekly income. 700$ per week is plenty for the things you mentioned.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think wickss mentioned he was aiming for $60 per day for living costs. Anything over that will just help build the bankroll.

Any idea of how many hours you are putting in per day wickss?

[/ QUOTE ]Probably 10 hours of actual playing time.

Better late than never I certainly understand the apprehension in even opening the thread in the first place, but thanks for your commitment to excellence once you did! And, we'll keep it a secret that you're a newcomer. As far as I'm concerned, from here on proceed as though you've been here all along.

Don't get the TV...unless you are just getting it for a TV. Get a couple of 20" or 24" flat screens. They are best for multitabling. Even if you do opt for a TV, you should probably check out the onecall.com GC for a better deal.

You could also wait for platinum star bonus(which you should be able to get if you play for a month solid, even at low stakes), but the $/FPP is pretty low.

Another option, use the FPP in the 5400 FPP 10 man SNGs where the top 4 get $215 tickets, or the 2700 FPP 20 mans where top 4 get $215, though these tournies are way bigger than what you are playing now value wise (5400 FPPs ~ $85).

[/ QUOTE ]

Can you then withdraw and get $215T?

Good luck today wickss!

haha nice thread.

seriously, if you can make $100+ a day and not have to withdraw much, your roll will grow surprisingly quickly.

ya because you know computer internet apartment food ?SOCIAL LIFE? those are all free

If he has any money saved up, my advice would be not withdraw int he 1st couple of weeks if possible and by then at $100+ a day, with some $200+ days, he will have a pretty healthy bankroll and will be able to take out $60/day without even noticing by that point if he has moved up in stakes and is still winning.

They should be very, very rare playing 10 hours a day at limits that small.
