He has like 9 outs for the flush and 12 outs for all the straight draws he can make on the turn. You only have 4 outs on the flop. That's a standard equity raise for him. 74 also makes more straights so is a better starting hand. This is expert play and I suggest you move tables.

[/ QUOTE ]

to be honest i think he actually played it fine. he has both backdoor draws locked up on the flop, plus the bottom pair and 3rd pair outs may come in handy. y'know the motto: 10% equity is better than no equity. i just can't believe people actually are this advanced already at 10/20 (i thought only 50/100+ players were capable of villain's play here).

DC has a forum now too!

fwiw their videos are unreal and i hate myself for not watching them sooner.

Awkwardly enough DDs voice narrating the ins and outs of a poker hand for some reasons take me right off tilt.

[/ QUOTE ]

I like JTs because he's always talking about breathing and preventing tilt.

Nice I'm only like 4 vids deep on the site decided alphabetic (DD, Entity, Joe) was the way to go.

it's amazing how much better i would have been so much faster if these guys had these vids like a year ago (they may have?)

Preflop is close. And unless button and SB are tight I wouldnt play it

Flop is spew unless there us some crazy dynamic going on between you two in which he can expect you to fold quite often when he 3-bets.

This is also spew at 100/200!

So my SD #'s for today at 5/T at 39/52

Yet I'm down 4bb/100 over about 900 hands... Thankfully more than made up but the 20 bb/100 at 10/20, but still.

Also Danza talked me into playing short handed full ring 15/30 last night. Ship the 100bb downer at 15/30 :O

the videos are so huge. I credit my joining up at DC at the difference between being a tilty TAG fish last spring, and winning player this summer till now.

but you guys should all start asking for more videos, because I need more 10/20+ from those guys. I always feel like I play better after watching one, but I think I've watched all of them at least twice.

I have CR membership mostly for schneids.. But I canceled my stox membership because I found I was learning very little every time I watcehd a video of his in limit.

Do you think there is unique/ineteresting ideas discussed in DC videos?
