The 6 max standard is generally a little higher, around 500 BB, but that's mostly a function of how willing you are to move down if you run bad. Really, I think the 300 BB is too small if you're unwilling to move down.

Agree. FWIW I think anyone who isn't a pro and isn't willing to replenish their bankroll with outside income as necessary should be willing to move down.

I don't mind moving up and down ... but I like having room to maneuver .. playing within 300BB sound like you will have to move down too fast if things go wrong ... gotta leave a bit room for variance [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Haha. I remember one month last year where I was playing 5/10, then 3/6, then 2/4, then 1/2 6max, and worked my way back to 3/6 before the month was out. Real men play with 150BBs.
