hey guys i'm pretty concerned about the cheating stuff, i've pulled all my money from absolute for the time being, I really hope this gets some major attention. What do others think who play mid stakes (5/10 10/20 etc).

I have no specific accusations to make about any particular player cheating. I know only that I am a long term winner at those levels on other sites and am a loser on Absolute. I guess I just assumed everyone on that site is a poker genius.

Despite losing, I have continued to play there because of the constant reload bonuses. Perhaps it is just variance. But with others having strong evidence of cheating I see no reason to not just stick to playing sites where I seem to win on a regular basis.

The guy they are talking about in the high stakes thread stands out because he tries to maximize his profit on every single hand. You could have others with the same information who would not be so obvious.

I believe the reason you are a long term winner on other sites and not on AP is because the rake at AP is substantially higher. However, the bonii, rb, and apr value more than make up for the extra rake. Some of the competition may be better but I really believe the rake is the biggest difference.

As for the cheating stuff, I highly doubt anyone who could see other players hole cards would venture as low as 3/6 adn 5/T. But who knows? Maybe they would because they know that they'd be flying below the radar. Still highly unlikely IMO.

cheating at mid-stakes?

If you knew you could counterfeit money with minimal chance of getting caught, would you do $5 bills or $100s?

i got like 3k still on ap from early this year. i was going to work off some bonuses and try to get vip but never got around to it. now i have zero reason to have money there. the cheating evidence is overwhelming.

I'm less worried about the cheating than I am by AP's lack of a response. AP isnt going to close down shop because they control UB too, but I'm not sure i want my money in a company so obviously shady when there are better places to play

Now that no one is playing high, mid-stakes is the new high. Besides, why counterfeit $100's and risk being caught when no one ever even checks a $5
