seriously. there are a lot of two heart flops where i have good equity when called and i thought there was also a decent chance he might fold to a semi-bluff. i dont really see what the issue is. he only raised $300 when the pot was already 800 and we had 3k left behind. and maybe you didn't see that I was stuck? it's a well known principle that it's +EV to gambool when you're stuck. you either get back to even and feel great or you get more stuck and feel just as bad.

It shows that you are running bad by a certain amount, not necessarily playing well/profitable.

Like, if you filtered for preflop AIs only, you could only shove AA and obv be profitable but still runbad. You would have positive equity, doesnt mean you play well.

in the example, wont your expected win line be negative?

true that it cant tell all the fine details of play (yet) , and the how-much-are-you-getting-coolered part of the program isn't out yet , but I still think it tells if a player is playing +EV poker or not.

I dont expect any program ever to be able to completely gauge how well a player plays (esp since its a game of incomplete information among other things) .. but I do believe it gives an accurate (to some extent) indication of how someone is running.. we'll see even more of the capabilities with the 'luck' tab in pokerev soon.

I guess my big issue with all of this is who the [censored] cares? All it does it make me people not look at their game as much which I guess is great for your opponents but can't be good for you.
