Don't you play like 6k hands a month?

[/ QUOTE ]

cakewalk - shove vs this guy. Fold vs some tighter people. Btw a 60% vpip guy with a seemingly low AF is way more aggro than a 20% vpip guy with the same AF.

I would hardly call shortstacking giving up on yourself either. Sure 100BB play is going to yield higher winrates, but shortstacking is going to allow you to play more tables and more hands with less tilt and less focus needed. It's the same reason some people grind SNGs. They're robotic and profitable.

[/ QUOTE ]

the thing is you cant play more tables and you will have far more swings and the play is anything but robotic for a good shortstacker. also once people figure out you arent just some random donk there's a 90+% chance you will lose money.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($152.80)
UTG ($242.10)
Hero ($100)
CO ($96.50)
Button ($65.05)
SB ($295.60)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls $1, Hero raises to $5, 1 fold, Button calls $5, SB calls $4.50, 1 fold, UTG calls $4.

Flop: ($21) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, UTG bets $10, Hero ?

i only have 7 hands on UTG at this time, but he just open limped so he can't be too solid.

button obv sucks, as he's short stacked

SB is 22/17. seems like a multitabling tag.

I would raise enough to put the button all-in and then re-evaluate if SB comes along. (I suck at cash though but trying to get better.)

Raising to 34 is bad I think. Better to raise to 32 so that if button shoves it reopens the betting.
