This is my first experience in Fantasy Football. I took over a management spot for a person who left the league. It's a 10 team keeper league. I can keep two doesn't affect my draft picks. I don't have any studs but was wondering who you'd keep here.

Carson Palmer
Roy Williams
Hines Ward
Jeremy Shockey
Tatum Bell

The top two are the ones I think I will keep as they have the highest ADP at FFCalculator , but I am open to hearing reasoning for keeping one of the other three. The rest of my team is pretty trash.

[/ QUOTE ]

If there are no penalties for keepers then its Palmer and Williams and its not even close. FYI, they are both studs

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah keeping those 2 seemed the obvious choice. By stud I meant people regularly going in the first 2 rounds.

Those who are doing the $35k contest, what's your team look like?

The top TEs look like beasts with 1.5pts/reception and they can start in the flex... but I'm still unsure of what to submit. You have to be careful with bye weeks... sucks that Todd Heap and Tony Gonzalez have the same bye.

I like McNair & Pennington for QBs, T.Jones & A-train ($4 for a RB that has to compete vs. a rookie) for RBs, WRs = tough, can't find a lot of value... I like a lot of the $14-16 WRs, TEs Heap, Gatez, and Gonzalez look nice. Anyone see any monster steals?

Obv pick a couple of $1-2 kickers and $1-2 defenses.

I'm thinking 3 QB, 4 RB, 6 WR, 3 TE, 3 K, 3 D is the best? Maybe 4 QB instead of a K or D.

I have Dallas Clark as my tight end right now but I keep hearing good things about Greg Olsen, should I drop Clark and pick up Olsen? What would you do?

Rate my draft ...

12 team league, 7th pick
25 yds/pt passing, 10yds/pt rushing rec, 4 pts/passing td, 6 pts/r/r td, .5 pts/reception
1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 WR/TE, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF, 7 Bench

1. (7) Joseph Addai RB
2. (18) Reggie Bush RB
3. (31) Chad Johnson WR
4. (42) T.J. Houshmandzadeh WR
5. (55) Deion Branch WR
6. (66) Matt Hasselbeck QB
7. (79) Terry Glenn WR
8. (90) Muhsin Muhammad WR
9. (103) Ladell Betts RB
10. (114) Denver DEF
11. (127) Brandon Jones WR
12. (138) Bo Scaife TE
13. (151) Rex Grossman QB
14. (162) Reuben Droughns RB
15. (175) Arnaz Battle WR
16. (186) Keenan McCardell WR
17. (199) Olindo Mare K

I'm irrationally scared about team/bye crowding, and kind of annoyed that i reached for a qb so early, with so many top ones already gone, but think I have a pretty good squad against some fairly retarded opponents.

Bush is insane at 18 with a ppr league, nice pick. I'm not sold on Branch... would have rather picked a 3rd RB in the 5-7. Looks like you reached a lot for Hasselbeck.. QB's aren't that valuable in your league with 25 yards/pt and 4 pt TD's vs .5pt/reception. Much rather grab a QB in the 8th/9th that will have the same output. Stockpile the WRs and grab a TE.

Can you drop someone else instead? I REALLY like Olsen (warning:I'm a Bears fan, and a TE fan) though.

I'm in a 10 man keeper league, 2 keepers. First one is Frank Gore, second one I'm not sure about. So, poll time. Also, for my own edification, there was some confusion over whether or not this was a keeper league and I dropped McNabb and Portis after their injuries, so a second poll to see if either of them would change who my keeper would be. Standard ESPN scoring. I don't expect this league to last past this year, so only take into account one more season.

12 team keeper league. Minimum 2 keepers, maximum 4 - cannot protect more than 1 player per position.

QB, 1 per 30y, 4 per pass TD, -2 per INT
RB, WR - 1 per 10y, 6 per TD, -2 per fumble, +1 for every 10 yards over 20y on a TD score.
TE - 1 per 10y, 1 per catch, 6 per TD, -2 per fumble
K - standard, by distance for FG, 1 per XP
D/ST - 1 per 10y of returns, 6 per TD, 2 per TO recovered

You can start one of three lineups plus 1 QB, K, and D/ST:
Std - 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE
Jumbo - 2 RB, 2 TE, 1 WR
Run 'n Shoot - 1 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE

I picked 5/6th, and I picked up a 2nd (5) and 7th (1) round pick (rounds were keeper1, keeper2, keeper/supplimental1, k/s2, 1, 2...) for trading Shaun Alexander at the deadline.

QB - Bulger, McNair
RB - Gore (keeper), MoJo, LaMont Jordan, Chester Taylor
WR - TO (keeper), Darrell Jackson, Donte Stallworth, Isaac Bruce, Matt Jones
TE - Cooley, Winslow, Baker
K - Rackers
D/ST - Patriots

I look Cooley and Winslow with my 2nd round back to back, causing a big run on TEs. With receiving TEs being valuable in this league, I thought I could use the Jumbo when my RNs are weak and trade one off for some help at the end of the season.

What do you think?

i commish one of my leagues and we moved to fox sports last year bc of the free live scoring and decently customizable scoring system. i just looked the schedules over for my league this year, and they are srsly fvcked up. in a 10 person league with a 13 week regular season some teams are playing 6 of their 13 games against just two different teams! this is absolutely not acceptable.

my question is, where can i move my league that will let me have 2 5 team divisions and follow a 8 divisional, 5 nondivisional game schedule? that's really the only thing i'm concerned about atm, because i can live w/o live scoring or whatever if the schedule is straightened out.
