If you are a significant winning player (say 4ptbb/100+) over 300K+ hands, what has been your longest breakeven spell?

[/ QUOTE ]

Very, very few people playing 6max NL cash on FTP or Stars at 2/4nl or higher have winrates above 4ptbb/100 for continuous samples of 300k or more hands imo.

The vast majority of those who can have moved up to higher stakes, where big variance due to good, highly aggressive opponents is almost inevitable.

The long run is really long. >4ptbb/100 for 100k continuous hands is easy, 300k is v hard.

mostly 5/10 and 10/20 and a bit of 25/50

http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/4...swingbbwn0.jpg

way too many [censored] buyins.

edit: around 36 buyins i think. def a non insignificant % to spew.

[/ QUOTE ]

Doesn't this say you're down 65~ buyins over your last 84,000 hands?

Also what is up with that straight down line towards the end. Tilt? Move down to $25 and open push for 500 hands?

this sums it all up for me. here i have imaged my PT so that the higher summary line in my since 23rd june, then lower summary line is from 15th may till 21st june (on 22nd june i went up $5K then back lost it and didnt want to complicated things)

difference stats wise:
from 22/13.5 to 19/11.75.
att to steal blind down 2%

other than that very similar id say. yet for 70K hands i run at 6.04ptbb/100 then the next 26K hands i run at -0.42ptbb/100 (i am now 40K hands breakeven).

check out AA, ive gone from 8bb/100 to 3bb/100, AK halved from 1.7bb/100.

comment on stats appreciated.

and gl skier, you deserve a rebound.

i think the problem is when your running well, it all seems fine - hitting those sets and they hold up etc etc. but when your running as we all have and some of us are currently, myself included, are running at the moment (like crap) then its hard to motivate yourself to log in the hands, having spent your last 80+ hours playing a game which yields no victory. hard to pump yourself up for the 20th+ session when you still haven't seen any sign of a recover.

i know we all have been through, or are going through this, just the whole concept of variance just sucks.

whatever... i've had 70k stretches where i win, then i lose every last dollar i have online. instead of bitching and moaning (which sadly i still did a bunch of in #msnl), i logged in 12 hour days at .5/1 or 1/2 or whatever stake i was still robusto enough to play.

you still have $40,000 from a game you can play while scratching your ass in your boxers right? so sack up and quit complaining.
