Nice day Orange.

In other news, alot of newbs in SSNL today posting a bunch of hands. Newbs, don't forget to respond in other people's hands. We ain't here just to serve you.

Everyone remember, limit yourself to starting two hand threads per day max.

Well, I like to think that the Internet is a community of giving back. I've started threads on various forums (Anandtech, AVSForum) without having ever replied to threads because I needed help in their area of expertise; if they were like "hey noob why don't you try participating before starting a thread", I would like to tell them that if they were to come to twoplustwo.com and ask for advice on a poker hand, we would help them in the same way.

...as long as they aren't spamming 10 hands.

i think the reason some feel this forum is turning BBVish is that this is the level where people start making REAL money and have the ability to turn pro etc. I mean coming from grinding for nothing to making thousands makes you really excited and feel like a baller, when it first starts happening you get cocky and cant control your boasting yet.

[/ QUOTE ]

So true, I know I use the cheese thread to brag about good months etc that I have had this year because its got to the stage where its embarrasing to brag to my friends about it because I am making so much more than most of them, including those with "real" jobs on salaries. Im sure its the same for plenty of people and stuff like the cheese thread is a good outlet for it.

btw, i love that there are seperate poker and teen drama cheese threads now, not that I have any personal problem with all the people posting life advice etc it was just making me feel old.
