yeah ... i wasnt too happy when it was first reported that waldman was going to replace steiner in the booth. all her prior TV and radio spots were all too 'rah-rah, go yanks' for me to handle.

however, i dont think she's been that bad this year. her analysis has often been on-point most of the time as well. pleasantly surprising

sterling's antics really get to me sometimes tho ... does he have to yell "an a-bombbbb from a-rodddd" every frikkin time? every once in a while would be fine- but every damn time the kid goes yard annnnn a bombbbb frommm a roddddd.. etc. etc.

Today the Yankees CRUSHED Detroit. 2 homers for Arod, 2 for Posada, and one each for Shef and Cano. 7 shutout innings on six hits and no walks for Mussina.

This sounds like one of the predictions he makes, the Yankees will hit a million homeruns, and Mussina will be God. Well it happened that way for once.

Boston lost, and Baltimore are tied with Seattle. The Yankees are 1.5 behind Boston, and 4 behind Baltimore. The haters are quiet...
