Re: **** OFFICIAL Premiership 2007-08 season Thread!*****
Baptista will be better. He played terrific for brazil in the south american tournament. And its hard to hear the name Adriano and not remember how amazing he was two or three years ago. And hes still 25! Honestly, when Adriano is fit and in form, hes a top 3 striker for sure. But Wenger is right, a loan deal really makes zero sense, especially if they really wanted Rosicky. We have enough strikers, but we're a little thin in the middle.

Re: **** OFFICIAL Premiership 2007-08 season Thread!*****
except that I think Adriano would fit perfectly in England. I've always liked Rosicky, but man, that would be a tough one to make a call on as Adriano is a big powerful striker that moves well both on and off the ball.
As a loan deal, that would blow, but in a straight swap with some cash exchanged, I think that it would be way too tough to turn down. I think that the loan is key there because if Adriano puts in like 18 league goals and 20-25 in all competitons, the boys from islington wouldn't have much to show for it as Inter would obviously want him back or at least charge a big fee for him |
