ok, full story:

night before last night i get a tricycle driver (they dont have cabs in this town that ive seen, just tricycles (like motorbikes with a third wheel and a carriage attached) and jeepnys (these jeeps with long cabooses that people just pile in and on top of)) to take me to the internet cafe then to dinner. hes a cool dude and starts asking me what im up to after dinner. i was like "i dunno might try to find somewhere to drink," and hes like "ok call me after dinner."

so i have a couple beers at dinner and give him a ring, and he comes by to pick me up, and tells me he knows of a good bar. ok. so we go, and get there and it turns out its a hostess bar, where girls try to get you to take them home or whatever. im kind of over this scene, but i wanted to drink, but i felt sketch by myself there, so i invited the driver in for a few drinks.

there for a bit, girl sits down, i start talking to her. we hang out for a few hours, dance a lot, drink a lot, she wants me to take her home but i tell her repeatedly "sorry baby, i dont pay for sex." shes disappointed but eventually i leave around 11:30 or so because i had an early day yesterday.

today go on a tour of the longest navigable underground river in the world (very cool, totally dark except for a big flashlight, huge stalagmites that have turned into really interesting formations, bats everywhere, really neat trip. not many pictures of this since so few turned out because it was so dark). good times.

get back to my hotel and see the same driver hanging out waiting for a fare, so i go to say whats up. he tells me this girl has been blowing up his cell all day trying to hang out with me. i tell him to call her and tell her that we can grab some dinner and go to a club somewhere, but im not paying for sex. so he does, and we all go grab dinner (the driver is awesome, he's literally became like my bodyguard/chauffeur in puerto francesa). play some pool, then go to a club to dance. we're there for like maybe an hour, hour and a half, have a few drinks, and the girl is like "let's go." i'm like "i told you, im not paying for sex." she said "no money, no pay, i want to go." so i get robby (my driver) and tell him we're leaving.
