Re: SSNL [cheese] thread: MARCH 2007 Pt. 2 (nc)
why not? he has to either push or fold and since he cold called i assume his hand wasnt good enough to push......i would think....he should have chose push in half a second as is, but he pretty much played this as badly as humanly possible.

Re: SSNL [cheese] thread: MARCH 2007 Pt. 2 (nc)
[ QUOTE ]
muddywater on CR says I should avoid Party BBJ tables, because $0.50 extra rake per pot will build up quickly and it's just not +EV. Any thoughts? [/ QUOTE ] Depends on your willing to embrace variance. On a 6max $100NL table its +EV when the BBJ is above $250000. A few days ago the BBJ was around 700k, which meant every hand had a +EV of about $0.08 for jackpot value alone (on average, the extra rake costs about $0.03 per hand). On the other hand, the variance on the BBJ is ultra-huge: you must hit it to make it profitable and that might happen once in a lifetime if you're lucky. It doesn't take too much bad luck to be paying thousands in BBJ rake and never hitting it. |
