Re: Stars VIP Wild speculation
[ QUOTE ]
Keeping SNE until the end of June only requires 50k a month. That is easy. I believe you can even miss a month. So you have 6 months guaranteed not 2-3. [/ QUOTE ] either way, I think the point still stands. For an entire years worth of hard work, you should get it for longer than 6 months |

Pretty sure it says you need a mill in 6 months AND at least 50k a month. [/ QUOTE ] He said to keep it through June. For the first 6 months in order to keep it you only need 50k per month. |

How do the tournament packages work?
Do you still get them if you are dropped from Elite early on? |

-------How do the tournament packages work?
-------Do you still get them if you are dropped from Elite early on? We are contacting everyone reaching Supernova Elite and asking what event would you like to play. Players that choose PCA are registered for the event just like they had won a satellite. $1000 spending money is deposited into thier account. Yes, they still get the packages. Scotty |

Re: Stars VIP Wild speculation
On a related note, are the same tournament package options going to be available NEXT year, or might we see a change in the lineup?

Nothing has been decided, and the news wouldn't likely be released early. For example, if someone from Australia wanted to play 3 APPTs and WSOP we would be willing to work something out. Scotty |

Scotty [/ QUOTE ] That sounds pretty awesome, if I'm interpreting what you are saying correctly. I think the more options that are available the better it is. The APPT is a good option. Stars gains from any publicity that comes from that tour as well as the EPT if I'm not mistaken. It's also possible that some players are more interested in the travel than the actual tournament. A trip to China OR Australia has a lot of appeal. It would be pretty sweet if Stars had a whole lineup of EPT/APT events and let the players choose. |

Re: Stars VIP Wild speculation
That's really really really wonderful news Stars is willing to accomodate something like that.
Would very possbily be more interested in attending more of the EPT events if given the choice assuming the vaule ends up being roughly equal in the 'work something out' department. GF and I are both in the mood to hit up different parts of Europe. Of course, that's assuming I can make a more serious run at Elite next year which is not at all a given. |

Re: Stars VIP Wild speculation
I wonder if Stars would also consider an option for televised WSOP tournaments instead of the EPT/APT options. If I'm not mistaken, the following were televised on ESPN this year:
• Event 1: $5,000 mixed hold 'em • Event 3: $1,500 no-limit hold 'em • Event 4: $1,500 pot-limit hold 'em or Event 7: $5,000 pot-limit Omaha • Event 8: $1,000 no-limit hold 'em with rebuys • Event 13: $5,000 pot-limit hold 'em • Event 28: $3,000 no-limit hold 'em • Event 30: $2,500 no-limit hold 'em six-handed • Event 31: $5,000 heads-up or Event 33: $1,500 pot-limit Omaha with rebuys • Event 39: $50,000 HORSE • Event 50: $10,000 pot-limit Omaha • Event 55: $10,000 no-limit hold 'em main event Players would probably have to pay their own buy-in and then be compensated later so that it wouldn't be abused. |
