i just don't think that this is possible.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, this isn't going to happen. No way the sites set this precedent.

[/ QUOTE ]

Or if it is even possible. Not that they don't have complete records of everything done on their sites, but just to define "how much player xxx lost". What does that even mean? Add up every hand he put money in where he didn't take money out?

Obv. the person shadow. spoke with has no concept of what they're asking.

As I understand it gambling losses are deductible on a per-session basis, but the term 'session' is rather loosely defined. Add up all losing 'sessions' (which mean nothing to a poker site) and that's your deduction.

shadow... honestly, dude... you need professional help. Get it immediately. Stop asking us.

Default LMAO @Fret\'s wrong forum reply

Fret's response to a wrong forum post deserves a wider audience than it's likely to get in a locked post.

OP finishes a NL mispost with "Well played or terrible donk play?"

Fret replies with:

"Quote/Well posted or terrible donk post? /quote

The latter."

Which makes me LMAO. Then OP, oblivious to the fact Fret changed his post, replies with "I assumed so. Any advice on how to better play it? Reraise pf to ~14, pot the flop?" which makes me really LMAO.

Nominee for next NC thread: Well posted or terrible donk post?

I was leveling Fret there a bit... taking advantage of his Euro-ness and the fact he probably hadn't heard the song by They Must Be Giants....

[/ QUOTE ]
I haven't heard the song by They Must Be Giants, either, as "They Must Be Giants" is not the name of the band, LDO.

[/ QUOTE ]

KO is trying to get rid of the band's self-esteem issues.

Happy Birthday, KO!

Oh, it's past midnight, woo... thanks.. The big 4-0.

I think I saw you playing live the other day

ugh,

i called the ga dept of revenue and asked what kind of documentation would be appropriate.

they want a letter on a poker site's letter head with my name, address, and ssn stating that i lost however many hundreds of thousands that i lost.

w.t.f.

halp.

some of the play is on party, some on ftp.

i just don't think that this is possible.

i know it doesn't work this way, but i think it's hella lame that they accept my word on gambling wins in the hundreds of thousands but don't accept on gambling losses. obv, i get why it doesn't work this way, so don't bother arguing, you nits. i'm just pointing out that it sucks.

any ideas?

unholla

[/ QUOTE ]

srlsly. pay someone qualified to figure this out for you.
for starters, email or call the poker sites and tell them to email you a document containing all your session records for 2006.
