Re: LOTR: Return of the King (GAME THREAD)
oh lol I see now
no, I just very much got into the groove of nichp's villager game in the turbo. Also, I had a unifying theory in my mind already. I won't go deeper into that. |

Re: LOTR: Return of the King (GAME THREAD)
Nez,
Fmx is allowed to ask stupid questions. Here is the thing about Fmx. 1) Him being active I think makes him MORE likely to be a wolf. 2) he seems really carefree though in his posts and 3) In his last two village games he got lynched early so all I can think about is active wolf Fmx, or totally utr ASXI village fmx. I think the carefreeness that I sense in posts makes him likely to be a villager and I dont want to hold him being active against him. |

Re: LOTR: Return of the King (GAME THREAD)
I don't know what to think now.
I don't trust neutrals. I think anyone that does is suspicious. The chance that GT is Gollum is hugely greater than Luckay. However, when GT1T DOES fake something, it's going to be infinitely more effective than when Luckay does it...because he doesn't fps much, if at all. Everyone expects Luckay to fake as any role, GT not so much. And really, a Gollum fake is a perfect move in this game: 1. NO inconvenient questions about why you are still alive the day after you fake. 2. NO expectations that you do anything to show your power. which leads me to: 3. There is a role in this game that benefits the evils HUGELY every extra night he is alive: Sauron. We can't just let everyone except ordinary plain vanillagers claim a role and live forever in this game. We need to figure some things out. |

Am I smoking something about FMXDA? I mean, it's the PERFECT "Look I'm interested and I'm contributing and asking questions!!!!" Except it was the lamest question ever. Why would GT1T's list magically change when he claimed Gollum? [/ QUOTE ] Um, I think it's a perfectly reasonable question to ask. When I play this game I try to find wolves but I also try to weigh heavily the opinions of people who I think are villagers. So I valued gt1t's opinion on Herbie. gt1t as Gollum may well have been pushing Herbie knowing he is villager because Herbie isn't likely to get lynched, and the evils would rule out gt1t as a potential seer. |

[ QUOTE ] so either a) aaron is not gandalf b) nich is not aragorn [/ QUOTE ] to clarify: as far as i can see, there are no corruptible villagers (did i miss it?) the wolves are not going to waste both a roleblock and kill on aaron. so either aaron is lying about being blocked (i.e. not gandalf) or nich is lying about protection (i.e. not aragorn) [/ QUOTE ] ! |

Re: LOTR: Return of the King (GAME THREAD)
Well.... I don't know what to do. I have meetings all this week from 6-8pm mountain time (8-10pm server time). Most days I will feel comfortable voting before I leave, but not today with all the roleclaiming going on. I don't want an AFK player to have an adverse affect on the game, so as of right now/today unvote .

They easily could have did both roleblock and kill on aaron. [/ QUOTE ] I said this many times and I actually think it might have been the optimal strategy for them. |
