Red River Rivalry Trip Report
tl;dr

The annual game between Texas and Oklahoma was on Saturday in Dallas, and I was there and will recount as much as I can remember.

On friday night I stayed at my dad's house in dallas and woke up early. Two friends and I got to the game a few hours before kickoff, and I was already drunk. At 11:30am most people in the parking area were reasonably drunk, and I realized that I was going to have to step it up if I wanted to be the obnoxious sports fan I really am.

We found these guys playing beer pong and joined in:


In the hour and a half we were in the parking lot, I drank 10 or 12 more beers and I was ready to go. We took a picture before we went into the game too, and I'm seriously shocked we all look this good. I'm on the right:



As we left, we knew that we'd be [censored] when walking back and never be able to find our car, so I convinced someone to take a picture of the intersection. (Thank god)





On the way into the stadium, I started a huge "TEXAS FIGHT" cheer, and got thousands of people to join. This would be the first of many. Luckily none of the 4,000 cops, deputies, state troopers, etc etc etc, wanted to give out tickets for public drunkenness... Unfortunately, we couldn't get good seats, and had to stick with these:



They were fine honestly, and the people around us were great. The best was drunken frat idiot who kept grabbing every chicks ass within a 6 foot radius. He also yelled "Don't tase me bro!" constantly throughout the entire game, and asked everyone within 10 rows if they had a cigarette at least 50 times (no exageration).

This is the guy and just one of the girls he was with who was really pissed at him. Awesome picture:


Unfortunately, Jamal Charles gave up a critical fumble, and Texas just didn't play well enough. We lost by one touchdown, and it felt like [censored].

After the game we left the fair right away and went to a local favorite wing and boobies place for dinner.

Other notes:
During the game everyone always stands up on the bleachers. I'm 6'3 so I have no trouble seeing over everyone, but I had no ability to keep my balance on saturday. I was falling off the bleacher constantly and I'm lucky I made it out uninjured.
