Some things I learned today:

1) San Diego's Defense is really really scary good.
2) I'm not so confident that benson is the stud I thought he was.
3) I'll probably be confident that benson is a stud when the bears don't play a defense that is as good as the chargers.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah they looked real good, i liekd the look of that rookie eric weddle. As for the benson issue, i think you shoulda gone with jones and traded benson but hey im not lovei smith !

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm a bears fan as well and I'm still confused about the benson over jones decision. Jones has been sold short since he entered the league yet continues to perform.

[/ QUOTE ]

I've always thought Jones was a good back. I think benson can be special. Jones wanted a big contract after this year and instead of losing him after the season getting nothing in return they got to move up in the draft. If I had to give a grade for jones like in madden, I would give him an 85. I think benson has a shot at being a 90 or better.

I think people are giving benson a hard time based on his last 2 games, remember he just played a solid defense against the colts but got hurt early and played against an awesome defense in san diego. Benson's ypc were really good last year. Barring injuries if benson plays 14 games, I'm expecting 1200 yds. I'm also confident that adrian peterson can run the ball and is only slightly worse then thomas jones.

Notes about me;
- I was a low limit O8b winner
- Kept blowing all my winnings playing HE too high
- Could hold my own at the 1/2 stakes and .50/1 stakes about the same time last year.
- Now I try to play the .25c/.50c full ring game and i'm getting crushed.
- I have been playing SNG's for about 6 months ago in an effort to learn discipline and to build a roll comfortable enough to play cash games with.

I can afford to play .25/.50 (20 buy-ins)now but what do you guys think is the best way to really curb the learning curve.(that sentence sounds weird in my head).

I have PT but have never really used it extensively b4 and don't even really know how to use it effectively. Any threads on beginners for PT?

Any suggestions on how to start guys?

Thanks a lot

Interesting so I'll try again~:

Hands that stand-alone
a. Overpairs - JJ-KK seem unlikely holdings since there was no reraise pre-flop. AA seems possible, pre-flop call followed by check raise which doesn't happen because there's no C-bet and flop looks like a complete miss for initial raiser. Turn may be a scary card if the initial raiser hit a set and is slow playing what is now a boat. Could the river check be a last attempt to induce a bluff from nothing? So possible.

b. Hands that hit the flop Hard - 22, 44, TT, AT, T2, I hate his line, but he could be slow playing these.

c. Hands that get a piece of the flop: A2, A4, KT-7T, 54s, 64s, surely deserve a bet on the flop after the initial raiser checks.

d. Hands that missed completely, but in his calling range - QJ, A9, 33, SCs, one gappers etc - could well just check it down.

e. Hands outside his range for calling a button raise OOP 4 handed: 32o, 42, 43, 53,52,62,63,72,73,74,75o, 82,83,84,92,93,94,95,96o,T3 (people play T2 for Doyle),T4,T5,T6,J2,J3,J4,J5,J6,J7,Q2-Q6, - it's obv not impossible that these hands are his hole cards, but it seems very unlikely that he would choose to play and then not take a stab at the pot, unless deterred by the "strong" check on the flop.

My best guess he's holding something that hit very hard, or missed completely. I think the other hands are not less likely, just more far fetched.
