[/ QUOTE ] in what games do they keep putting men on base? i see cano, abreu, and cabrera with near .300 OBPs, A-Rod has cooled off, giambi and damon are banged up and ineffective - where's all these men on base you speak of?

That's despite only being 7th in 0PS, 8th in SLG, 5th in OBP, and 4th in AVG. Could they actually be running good? I couldn't find any team LOB stats. They're only 18th (better than average) in GIDP.

Also, I watch all the games. Maybe this is just me being a homer and exaggerating things, but it seems like they have an awful lot of line-outs and deep fly outs.
It's possible I am just a homer, but I feel like the offense is just feeling some heavy variance right now. This does not surprise me with Cano or A-Rod, but Abreu rarely suffers variance. That is a trouble situation. Cano has always worried me because most of his OBP is in BA... which is obviously really streaky.
