If I were the gambling type I would bet a lot of money against Torres moving. He recently resigned with Atletico. The only clubs I could see affording him are Real Madrid and Chelsea, though I doubt Real Madrid can in this case as Atletico would require an insane amount to give him up to their rivals.

Especially given that Atletico are likely to be in the fight at the top when the transfer window opens, they would need a ridiculous offer to take him.

Milan's owner is a billionaire and spent very little of Shevchenko's transfer fee, so they're also definitely rich enough for Torres if he wants to come. They were linked off and on over the summer but I haven't heard anything recently.

I also don't see him moving either way unless the team tanks.

I think Freddy will play out his current contract at Arsenal and then leave on a free. So Ribery is a possibility

Just a random musing, but what are the barriers to setting up an ELO ranking for the big leagues? Seems to me it could be useful/fun/interesting.
