lol, that's exactly how my homegame tends to end. Gambool for 6 hours, then omaha flips for whatever people won anyway.

Please tell me why the following is not correct. If he was down 1.2 million at one point why has he not left the game with over 1.2 million if he got it back and was 50k up overall.

Has the rake really taken that much off the table?

[/ QUOTE ]

I dont think the rake took over 700k, im assuming the rest was staked?

This is why I love poker, an epic battle between two excellent players for insane amounts of cash. An old pro on his turf, a young upstart come to challenge him at his best game. And a half mil flip? gotta love it, this is what it's all about.

You guys keep saying Farha is the sick degen, did you miss the part where Brian wrote that he would have done a 450k if he had more money on him.

Well if you think about it, 470K vs 450K is kind of +EV for Sammy, becuse Brian still has lower edge here (about 2%) than playing craps against the house - which will Sammy probably do now since Brian declined the flip.

townsend could of had 1.2m on table. farha was gambling with his 470k on table and it never says that the 450 that townsend had to put up was everything he had
