To all the people having troubles booking a room, I am not too familiar with Turningstone's policies, but during my time in Vegas I learned that if you drop 25k in 45 minutes of non high stakes blackjack, the floormen and staff will all become very receptive to all your needs...just a tip.

Anyone wanna explain to a first time tourney player at stone what the procedure is ? I play cash games but might as well hop into this ...I finished 15th in my local tourney back in Nov in my first ever live tourney so lets see If i can get lucky and do better

All they think they make off of you is rake, they save some rooms for guys that are going to blow like 10k on blackjack or something.

For that poker rate, I know that they only allot so many rooms for each night, once they're gone ,they're gone...period. Yeah it sucks, but that's why you plan ahead of time. That's typical old Turning Stone for you...
