I have played at Dania before. Nice room. However, their decision to keep their rake so high will lead me to NEVER play there again. They have lost another player. I hope people stay away from cardrooms that treat us like we are mentally retarded. I know that they are in business to make money but what dania is doing is robbery. My humble opinion. They'd be out of business if they were in Las Vegas. Thank goodness we have other places to take our gaming dollar down here. Eight days and counting ... |

Sup all...
I'm out in Vegas at the WSOP, and ran into David (I think this is his name IIRC), floor manager at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, he's working as a floor manager out here for the Series. Long story short, he said he could all but guarantee that the Hard Rock will be spreading 2/5nl with $500 max buyin. Further, he said they will be starting the new games on Wednesday. Sorry if this info has been posted already, figured yall would like to know. |

Hope its true and the Tampa HR follows suit.
A buddy of mine said that he spoke with someone and that they had no plans to offer NL after July 1. I assured him that they may not do it on 7/1 but they will do it if everyone else in the area is doing it. |

Or could be that they might decide to just cater to the $2 crowd that the parimutuels are leaving behind? This in the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel: http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/loc...ots0624psjun24,0,4620106.story?coll=sfla-home-headlines It basically says that the Class III slots in Broward County aren't generating the revenue everyone expected and that the Seminoles, even with the Class I slots, are still kicking the parimutuels' ass. |

As of last night, the word at the Seminole Coconut Creek casino was that perhaps as early as Wednesday they will be spreading a variety of limit games (e.g., straight, 2/4, 1-5 spread, and straight 5), as well as no limit with NO $100 CAP on the buy in (i.e., $100 max required buy in, but either no cap or their own discretionary cap). Right now they're tentatively planning on 1/2, 2/5, and 5/10, but said they will spread whatever the traffic will bear.
