Mallett may well (and hopefully will) prove to be much better than Chad, but right now Chad >>>>>> Mallett. Anyone who says otherwise is a complete moron.

Although in their defense, the playcalling tightens up for Mallett which puts him in obvious passing situations, which doesn't help.

One of the reasons I have always been a big Henne defender, is because of the play calling. Almost always running on first down (except for tonight), puts Henne is so many situations where the opponents know you are going to pass. Even really good QB's can struggle when they are in those type of situations. Hopefully we keep the peddle on the gas in the 2nd half. First down play action...please DeBord, let's keep it going.

I didn't say Mallett was better, I said it wasn't a huge dropoff.

This is so true. I'm a long-time OSU fan and he just isn't very sharp. Somehow it hasn't come back to bite him yet, but he still has so much air under his passes that it's like asking people to intercept him.
