Well imagine if they brought Salty into a 14-0 game, days before a potential blockbuster trade goes down, and he twists something legging out a ground ball. How ridiculous would that be?

They don't need to showcase Salty, his perceived value is already at a relative maximum. Benching him for safety is probably a shrewd move here.

They pulled Harrison out of the deal with shoulder trouble. I don't think they'll pull the deal off.

I thought they were dead in the water, but it looks like they added another pitching prospect to the deal to get him.

Hopefully, Harrison is the 4th player.

Rumor is it's Salty, 18 yo Andrus and 19 yo Feliz, and another pitcher.
