Offensive genius Charlie Weis put up 17 points (7 of those TOTAL [censored]) in 120 minutes against GT. Way to play.

Of course he won't get fired because he's jolly and white though.

[ QUOTE ]
If Hawaii does go undefeated in the reg season like man people think it will be pleasant to watch someone run the score up on them.

[/ QUOTE ]

There was a UH thread around here somewhere. Basically UH said that since no one will play them they have to run up the score against the opponents they CAN get, otherwise they have no chance at the BCS.

There's a lot of factors to this but I don't think you can blame Hawai'i tooooo much. They easily could have put up triple digits if they really wanted to impress people.

How can Herbie call Pac-10 most improved in the country and yet only #2 overall when they were arguably the best conference last year?

[/ QUOTE ]

SEC last year >>>>>>>>> Pac Ten. So maybe he's taking off a few ">>"s.

Watch out for USF. We both know that Cox is terrible.

[/ QUOTE ]

I am under no misconceptions about Cox, our OL, our playcalling etc. There are some major problems.

[/ QUOTE ]

Im just being an ass, see avatar. I just dont think Cox is anything more than a game manager. Youll be in every game with that D, but your schedule is brutal.

[/ QUOTE ]

Cox is no superstar and that's pretty obvious. He's pretty under-rated though and it's pretty unreasonable to expect much out of him with 0 running game and [censored] protection, hopefully both of those will improve. Regardless he's a tough, smart QB and when he has time he generally does a good job.

[/ QUOTE ]

I just dont see how hes underrated. If anything, I think hes rated rather accurately, a QB who has had ups and downs during his tenure. If Auburn has to rely on him to be a playmaker, theyre gonna be in serious trouble offensively IMO.

Does it bother anyone else how Brennan never gets any [censored] for his "character" problems?

Compare, for example, Eric Wright(UNLV CB last year) with Brennan and the media coverage each receives.

Brennan isn't the only character issue

Congrats to Lloyd Carr and Gary Pinkel who showed, once again, how to botch the going for 2 decision

Congrats Lloyd....you lost by 2...the 2 points you should've had from xps
going for it down 31-26 in the 3rd quarter is a mistake!!!

Dear Gary Pinkel,
going for it in the 2nd quarter up 13-6 in a game with 56 expected points is beyond retarded. You did hang on and win the game 40-34, but it would've been hilarious if you lost 41-40.

STOP GOING FOR 2 UNLESS IT IS NECESSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Lloyd Carr's job might be lost due to not knowing this one thing
