I own my own business, which basically means I work all the time. Fact I can even squeeze in about 30k+ hands a month while working 70+ hours a week and not having my wife divorce me is pretty good.
Now if I didn't suck at poker, I would be happy.

[img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I own a wireless phone and satellite tv business, have two locations at the moment. Just took them over in April and just moved one of the locations to a new spot over the past few weeks. One reason I am having to put in so many hours.

During school, I shelve books at the library for $7.50/hour 10 hours a week...WOOT. This is basically grocery money for me.
Summer job - paid internship. Poker - hobby that provides a nice little amount of money.

Got a job. Currently on an expat assignment in Oz.
Two kids which at times can be like a job. Poker is hobby and spending money for other hobbies like paying for boats and their fuel!

sold business(3k/month), play poker now... so far so good. the money is good but I dont know if I want to be doing this LONG term, being stuck behind my computer all day, tilting, steaming, and stressing out is not my dream job.

Not sure how you reached that conclusion but i'll take it as a compliment. But no, actually it was ESL in korea and I taught any age from kindergarden to adults. I like to teach, but I think it's something I'd do later in life when I'm finacially set-up. Not a lot of cash in it.

I have a real job, but make more playing poker. I just cracked 100k for the year this past week. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] If I didn't have a wife and 2 kids and a mortgage and a country club bill etc. I would just sell my business and play full time. What I have started doing is gradually working less hours and playing more.
