In addition to what everyone said. USS Maine explodes in Havana harbor. Used as excuse for war to take Spain's colonies. Could have been accident, could have been done by Spain or US, could have been the work of US suger interests, and could have been work of Cuban rebels trying to provoke war between Spain and US.

I know that Prescott Bush worked for an investement bank, and that one of their clients were a German millionaire that up until 1938 was one of Hitlers greatest financial backers. But I had no idea that Bush financed Hitler. Please explain to me how that was done?

Thanks for giving me a link to the information I already said I was aware of?? If you work for in a bank, investing money for person A, and he uses the profit you ensure him to back person B, are you then the one backing person B? If so, I think its morally very challenging to be an investment banker as you are responsible for whatever wrongdoing your clients do with the money they make from the investments.

from the guardian article. so it seems that while his complicity was debatable perhaps, it can't be dismissed since, well the guy below wanted him charged.

The evidence has also prompted one former US Nazi war crimes prosecutor to argue that the late senator's action should have been grounds for prosecution for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

Barry Seal's murder is a hell of a mystery to as well as the whole CIA/Heroin Coup in the Golden Triangle as well as their involvment in cocaine/crack trafficking in Los Angeles in the late 70's/early 80's. Drug $ is 2nd most important thing to economy next to oil. Hundreds of billions a year it is worth. A few years ago it was worth about 700 billion not sure what it's worth today.

Great picture here I'm sure the powers that be didn't like published with Dick Grasso, head of the NYSE at the time, meeting with high level colombia rebels from the FARC to discuss investing their drug $ in Wall Street. At the time the FARC was and still is the listed on a list of State Department's terrorist organizations.
