Meh that seems like too much work. I haven't spoken to any of our mutual friends in at least a year. Getting in touch with them might be the same ordeal.

Plus i'm not sure how bad I want to get in touch with her. I have these weird dreams periodically about people and then have an insane urge to get it touch with them (ex-fiancee ftw/l) but it subsides in a few days. This one already subsided. It's more of a combination of curiosity/worry. She's one of those people that is always calm and collected unless you look really close, then you see that they're perpetually on the edge of a nervous breakdown. Meh, it wouldn't be the first person that i've been tight with and never talked to again for some silly reason

DATE TR #1:

Met her at a bookstore bar...was incredibly nervous for some reason, and sweaty from walking from the metro. Awkward handshake when we met. She's really thin, which isn't obv my thing, but she has a sweet face and a mutherf__kin afro ffs. I went with a drab dark blue target shirt with a button'd pocket, trying to balance looking cool with 'dressin up nice for a date' that some girls appreciate. Plus I got my fly Filas on so she knows I kicks it old school.

Fortunately she talks a mile a minute which may mean she's crazy but makes it easy to overcome my initial tonguetiedness. It's crowded, so we head down to 18th St.lounge which I've never been to even tho its like a DC cultutal landmark at this point. I'm glad that she suggested it, means that this is clearly no 5 minute coffee-date.

Walking down I get more confident, start some of my various dumb stories about baseball and my water getting turned off and where I went to middle school. At one point I make way too big of a deal about my roomate being black. Afterwards I immediately regret it...clearly I was trying to give her the signal that 'I knows Black Pppl LOL SO WE COOL OK?' I am dumb. Other than that I dont think I offended her in anyway. Not that I was being superpolite...I made the usual bevy of faux-sexist statements that chicks love to pretend to be offended by. (Hint: WNBA jokes A+)

Anyway, we sat on a couch in the corner and yammered for a while. She is insanely open so she keeps telling me how the date is going which I pretend to not care about. She keeps saying she really likes me which either means nothing or that she's a stage 4 clinger. She's wicked smart though, went to an ivy league school, speaks 3 languages (Portugese ftw) and likes Hank Williams Sr. Basically my dreamgirl, if she's sane, or at least semi-sane.

At one point I get up to go to the bathroom and I cant find it. She stands up to show me where it is and in the darkened hallway I turn to face her, slip an arm around her back and kiss her. She'll only give me a lingering peck before pushing me laughing toward the stairs. When I get back I sit right up in her face, not trying to kiss her again but just getting up in her space. She's really comfortable with it, lets me play with her hair. I'm trying to decide whether to pursue sealing the deal tonight...seems unlikely since she keeps talking about her dad and how she's going to call him to report the details of our date (wtf?). Eventually we start talking about the book The Joy of Sex, and that gets interesting when she compares the way your mind switches off during lovemaking to the total dominance of one UFC fighter over another. Yikes/Yowzer. Finally it's almost midnight, I gotta catch the last train.

I hurry her out and when she tries to say goodnight I pretend we're going the same direction long enough to get her semi-isolated and kiss her on the street. When I put my hands on her lower back she pulls them up but leans in to my body and gives me a little tongue. She's thin but strong and her perky hard tatas feel good on my chest. She breaks it after a second and pushes me away again smiling. "Good night!" It sounds final..."Call me"
