I said I would be happy if they won more than 20. My buddy, Die-Hard Blazers fan said they should win at least 32.

Even with Oden out, I like the vibe around the Portland team. Roy should be even better, Aldridge is going to be a beast, and nobody is expecting anything at all with Oden going down.
I think they're going to win just enough games to sabotage themselves out of a decent lottery pick. AKA: low 30s.

Re: Marion he is a seriously fragile dude, emotionally. Read McCallum's book on the 05-06 Suns (great book, BTW). Unless they get like Odom and someone else (Walton? Can you imagine Luke Walton on the Suns? I think I just came...) Marion's going no where, Nash is going to throw him 6 lobs a game for the first month, and he'll be happy until he gets snubbed/plays less than 15 minutes in the all-star game.

Personally, the Odom proposal is completely retarded. I'm an Odom fan, but he's 27 now (can you believe that? seems older). I just don't think he's ever going to be the really good player he can be on a nightly basis. There is no frickin' way the Suns swap Marion for an inferior/less durable player with a division rival. Give me a break.

If they net more than 25 wins I'll give you a dollar. I'd say 20 wins, but I'm a pretty stingy fellow. I really think the O/U line is in the high teens / low twenties. I said 17 in my first post here. Might be more like 19.5 or so.
