ps I'll admit I don't know the mechanics of account buying, but I really don't understand how people reconcile "he's a random donk who has played ten tourneys" with "he's plugged into a network that will make it possible for him to sell his account, on the fly, trusting a guy he's probably never met."

I'm betting account buyers have a reasonably limited pool of donks from which to select. Some fifty year old dude from Ohio isn't going to be checking his aim to see if actionjeff wants to take over.

OF COURSE it's still a problem. But let's be rational about trying to solve it.

Your above post seems a little irrational to me. Playing just (ONLY) tournaments with <$10 buy in equals to your wife playing in your account

I think I was pretty rational about it, OP posted several examples and I just concentrated in the one that seemed suspicious.

That's the difference between me and you, I and some others concentrated in that one (the one that looked suspicious) and you and others concentrated in the obvious one (the ones with almost no tourneys played on Stars, most probably people who play cash games)

And why you're all rile up, why exactly am I a broken record? Man, sorry if we concentrate on different things while posting. It's really funny you get all mad.
Also, lol @ the witch hunt, please. Could you name an innocent soul that have been punished by the internet inquisition?

Funkii: Lol @ posting here is silly, did you really read 2p2?. I suggest you to leave the free market to decide which posts are silly to be read. I agree with you throwing names just for the sake of it it's a bad thing, but I think some of the info posted by OP is relevant, don't you think?

It looked like gobboboy and westmenloAA had probably sold their accounts to pros also. Both of them were playing pretty well and with deep stacks the entire way after making the money. They also both finished top 20. Thoughts?

Gobbo is one of my heroes, please don't mix his name with your humor attempts.

not sure what you mean by 'did you really read 2p2'. but anyway, I think posting this here is silly because randomly guessing at names is not productive and just gets people riled up and makes this community less pleasant. and no, I don't think the information in the op is relevant, at least not to 2p2.

Come on guys, someone gets deep in a donkament and hasn't played many large buy in's and its enough to make a multi accounting thread?

He could have been staked, there is any number of things that could have happened.

say you didnt enter the tournament and therefore havent played

would buying a seat be considered multiaccounting?

would it be allowed?

Well, I find this info at the very least interesting and amusing:

but I may be the only one.

Note: There is no filter in the info, those are ALL the tournaments the final tabler of the WCOOP $2 Million Guaranteed, has played to date according to officialpokerrankings
