OP thinks his teenage daughter isn't having sex.
I don't care if you live in frikin Afganistan, you sound like an fool to everyone who remembers what being a teenager is all about. Sorry, but lol. Unless she is ugly, in which case, LOL she's still having sex. |

Re: Beat: Daughter moving out tomorrow
Am I going to be the first one to rip this guy for believing in a retarded religion? Sure bro. An omniscient omnipotent god cares whether you ritually bathe after your rag or not. Furthermore, he will be supremely offended by sex (such a sin) without a bath first. LOL Dogma. Religion is absurd and your a bad father for putting that on your children. If you had allowed them to grow up independent of your beliefs in this modern society they would have been able to live more truthful/happy lives.

Re: Beat: Daughter moving out tomorrow
[ QUOTE ]
Ok. A bit of background will help explain how I am so sure. In Judaism a woman is considered impure after having a period until she does ritual bathing. Having sex whilst impure is about the biggest no-no possible (for both the girl and the guy). Makes eating pig look like a good deed. Since single girls do not ritually bathe it is obvious that they do not have sex. A more practical reason is that they are simply NEVER - and I mean NEVER - alone with a member of the opposite sex. If they have a bf/gf then they will never been in a room with the door closed. If they are the only people in the house they will leave the front door open. It is the same for married people. If I pop over to the neighbours to borrow something then I will NEVER close the door if I am inside the house unless another member of the family is there. Maybe I should start an "Ask anything from a religious Jew" thread. [/ QUOTE ] well, at least she'll have a basis of comparison before she gets into a serious relationship and gets married as usual: [1] Organized religion [0] Rational thought |

I do think dogmatic organized religion is wrong. OP's naivetty about his daughter may not be entirely cause by his religion as fathers in general just don't want to believe certain things about their children, however; Op's belief in religion and the way it affects his life is hugely naive in and of itself. |
