"bartender likes girl and saw her showing interest in you and or your friend" Perhaps, but both bartender and girl have significant others, so I'm not convinced that is what was going on.

Wowowow. Can't believe so many people think the bartender should fill up the water bowl. In 99.9% of bars you ask for a glass of water and fill up the bowl yourself. The only way a bartender fills up the water bowl is if you are in a super expensive high class place, like the bar at a Ritz-Carlton or something.
