Hyundai vs. Honda

its actually built on a euro focus platform. both the volvo and mazda use it. drives great, i'd say better than the civic.

this thread inspired me to check out some Hyundai info, as I'll be in the car market soon.

I had my sights set on a Toyota Highlander. I value reliability very highly, and performance/looks fairly low. So Toyota is a great choice for me.

But, I read a Motortrend review which favored the Hyundai Sante Fe over the Highlander.

is Motortrend to be trusted with stuff like this? which sites/magazines are the best places to gte trusted info?

Not sure about the magazine reviews, but a few years ago my Tahoe got broadsided in an accident, and as a rental I received a Santa Fe. At first I laughed as I wasn't used to a smaller SUV, then after riding it for a few days, I fell in love. If I ever decide to downsize, the Sante Fe will be given serious consideration.
