Demo gets a thumbsup from me, and I'm not a huge fan of FPS.

this is looking to be one of those games that's bound to win everything and inspire excessive backlash as a result among a vocal minority. a bunch of bloggers/smaller gaming websites will seek to draw attention to themselves by going on about how X game had already done Y feature better and how they had more fun playing the new limited-run quirky Japanese import. they will bore and irritate everyone but will have a point. anyone expressing balanced judgments about it within the next oh 5 years will be ignored/ridiculed/arrested. everyone will be trying to copy the template and a few games will improve on the source material but they will be largely ignored or taken to task for faults that were glossed over in reviews of the original.

2k must have known that they were on to something if they decided to push GTAIV out of the way to make room for this.

Saw commercial for it on Spike TV during UFC shows. Some good visuals but some kind of chaotic/standard shooting stuff that was hard to pick out as anything special/unique/different. Very short commercial, but could have been made better.

As soon as I finished the demo, I came online and ordered it from Future Shop. Can't wait to play this game!!!!

remember when prey came out, and it got all kinds of really good reviews!??! how did that happen.. that game came and went in a matter of two weeks.
