Winning 3 of 4 from the Phillies would be fantastic.

But I don't see it.... man if we won on Saturday we'd be one game out of the wildcard.

Matt Holliday is a beast

So was our foursome of AAA pitchers yesterday lolz

Man, if we could go 3-1 here and the Pads lose tonight... 1.5 back baby.

OH SNAP I forgot about that, holla

Three games thus far and we've outscored the Phils 25-8

Looking at the Pads schedule I'd be seriously surprised if we overtook them this month... I'd almost think we'd have a better chance catching the D-Backs. I mean, if we can gain 3-4 games on them before that season finale series we'd still have a shot in theory

It's fun to play meaningful games this late though, that's for sure

Dude... last night was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fun

Take that you Dodger bastards

We have lost 5 of 7 over the last two months to the Pirates and Marlins at home. If we just have a winning record (4-3) in those 7 games we are 2.5 out right now.

But oh well. This team should contend for a few years to come IMO.

Or, maybe, who knows, we could sweep the Dodgers and the Padres to win 8 in a row and suddenly find ourselves tied for 1st.

lolz

it'd be quite the turn of events, but if the rockies manage to win every series from here on out (they've got 2 more in this set vs. LAD, then 3 game sets @SD, @LAD, and vs. ARI), it could get close

I would love to see this team in the playoffs

It's frustrating that if the Rockies or Dodgers played in the NL Central either of those teams would be in the playoffs.

I seriously think they're both better than the Brewers/Cubs, and have a better record in a tougher division

Alright, seriously, wtf hurdle. Fogg goes 5 IP with 88 pitches and gets pulled after giving up 3 runs. Decent start, leave him in for one more inning instead of turning it over to a guy with like 20 major league IP in Speier

We need this freaking game

Oh, and Holliday for MVP 11 HR this month
