It isn't but these headphones are actually not very good, so it really isn't fair to say that.
I'll let you know when I get some better headphones. I will say that what these headphones do well(bass) has improved quite a bit. It is much cleaner and the bass feels way seperated from the rest of the sound and not so muddy. Shure's are known for their rolled highs so I'm gonna step it up with some Ultimate Ears. to go custom or not hmm

Doesn't sound like a big difference but $200 is the cost of a decent pair of cans EDIT: Do you think I should have gone with titanium, or a different color?

Go figure. http://www.ultimateears.com/_ultimat...escription.php On the right you can pick different colors. You can also get any color or pattern you want or imagine for not much extra. I like electric blue and titanium. Yellow etc. all those bright colors are out. I'm open to other suggestions.
