Fall 2002, Nebraska vs PSU in Happy Valley. Nebraska came in for a night game ranked #1 and got absolutely stomped. I was also at the OSU game in 05 and for me it didn't even compare. The Nebraska game and a few others triggered much stricter stadium rules and pretty much ended throwing things. I think I got hit with a thing of nachos and some fruit punch later and didn't really care. That season started out so great, LJ dominating, MRob involved in some nice trick plays, the Johnson's catching balls. F U Mills [/ QUOTE ] Not to be nit, but Nebraska was #7 at the time . This game would probably be my 2nd favorite PSU game. The blowout against Nebraska was awesome, but the OSU game was intense the entire time. I didn't have a voice that entire season. |

2002 Winter Olympics Quarterfinal Men's Hockey
Czech 0 vs Russia 1 Had press seats. One row up from the glass just inside the blue line. The fastest paced, hardest hitting hockey game I've ever seen. And both teams completely hated each other, esp the Czechs. Some of the team members: Russia Nikolai Khabibulin - 41 saves Pavel Bure Sergei Fedorov Alexei Kovalev Ilya Kovalchuk Igor Larionov Alexei Yashin Alex Zhamnov Sergei Gonchar Darius Kasparaitis Czech Dominik Hasek Radek Dvorak Patrik Elias Martin Havlat Milan Hejduk Jaromir Jagr Robert Lang Martin Rucinsky Petr Sykora Roman Hamrlik Doubt I will ever in my life see another hockey game like that. Sadly it's a game most people in the US never even saw. |

2001 W.S. was Arizona over the Yankees.
Yanks trying to win the W.S. shortly after the 9/11 attacks was the big story of course. |

Last time we did this I had to say the Colts-Steelers playoff game. I remember saying to my friend as we walked back to the car that we'll probably never see another game as classic as that, and that it sucks that we didn't win.
Fast forward a year and I'm watching the Colts and Pats in the AFC championship game. When Samuel returned the INT to make it 21-3 it was deathly silent inside the dome. Watching the Colts come back from that and celebrating with with all the other season ticket holders in my section was amazing. |

Really? They at least started out the season #1 right? Maybe this is just a case of year after year embellishment of a story then I really thought we were going to go undefeated that year though. The offense really started out clicking, LJ was a beast, but then towards the end of the year teams keyed on him and shut him down, and Mills couldn't step up
