my fiance and I discovered and went a bunch right afterwards. They have a nice variety of beer, awesome fries, some good burgers. I hate the pizza but she loves it. They also have a turkey cobb sandwich that's tasty.

Been to the one in Huntington Beach a few times. Food is pretty decent, and the scenery wandering by from the beach is absolutely amazing.

[/ QUOTE ] True, Ive been to this one 3 times and I love that area.

Growing up we used to go to the 1st 2 locations. They started in Laguna Beach amd the 2nd was at Balboa Pier in Newport Beach. Always loved the Pizza. This was before the microbrewery and explosion of locations....

Beer is better than most domestic, but is still a corporate microbrew. Pizza is almost as good as I remember. Pizookies are great.

Some in the area would have a monthly beer night where they would set you up with a flight of different beers (not all their own) and explain the taste and how they were made. That was always nice. I also enjoy their 'Cask" Conditioned ales. It is usually top notch but gone in 2 days or so....

This place is really good in my opinion. The menu has a wide variety and all of the things that I've tried have been good. Also, the place seems to have a nice inviting atmosphere. And yes, Pizookies are incredible.

Diablo,

I am surprised you go here and I am also surprised so many people like this place, the food isn't anything special and for a couple extra bucks or even the same price you can get much better food and the same environment. I don't get bent out of shape like some of you about the Pizookie b/c it isn't as good as the other's that I have had. I don't see the appeal of this place but a good friend of mine was a bartender there and he always wanted us to meet up there so the place did get old, maybe I am biased?

The best Pizookie I have ever had was at a place called Oregano's in Tempe, AZ.

One is just about to open up in my area. Never been nor heard of one prior to news of its opening. Now I'm skeptical of trying it out.

Don't be. It's not as overpriced as everyone makes it out to be. I would try to stick with the pizza/pasta/sandwhiches though. At the very least, get the mother-[censored] pizookie!

Where do you live?

South Texas
