I read both of the linked threads.. having no prior knowledge of this, why does it matter if someone pretended to be a girl? I don't understand the whole controversy or why anyone is upset. A guy picked a female avatar on Party and found a picture of a hot girl on the internet and tricked some people so this is an offense deserving a ban? Am I missing something?

[/ QUOTE ] If by "pretending to be a girl" you mean "creating a person out of whole cloth, possibly multiaccounting and using this person to obtain money from other members of the tournament community, and getting the fictitious person staked for a WSOP event and claiming to bust early when the person who actually entered the event with the money finished 10th", then... You know what, it's easier to just say that, yes, you are missing something
