Re: Bachelor party ideas for Lame Groom (No strippers, no clubs)
when you say "hates drinking" does that mean that he would be mad if others were drinking?

Maybe there are some churches in the area that have Friday or Saturday night services.

Meh, there's been some really good responses, but the best have involved golfing, paintball, bowling, or just refusing to let the groom stay sober.

Re: Bachelor party ideas for Lame Groom (No strippers, no clubs)
haha, we had a bachelor party a few weeks ago for a friend of ours who also wasn't "allowed" strippers (in fact, he himself hates strip clubs and wanted nothing to do with them). we took him to a strip club anyways. the groom-to-be (and certainly the bride-to-be) have nothing to say in the matter.
(despite his disdain for strippers, he's actually a cool guy who loves to drink, so at least he was up for a party...i feel kind of sorry for OP) |

Re: Bachelor party ideas for Lame Groom (No strippers, no clubs)
I'm assuming you know the groom really well, or else, wtf are you doing planning the bachelor party?
Doing something the groom won't enjoy for the sake of celebrating the end of his bachelorhood = douchebaginess. It's his party. If the rest of you want to go see strippers, do it while he's on his honeymoon. Don't try to drag him into something he doesn't want to do. Batchelor parties are a celebration of the friendship you have had with the groom. It's about memories and celebrating, congratulating him and sending him forward to his marriage. Get together and do what you, him, and your other friends enjoy doing together. The sad truth is, after marriage, it gets harder to spend time with your friends. So why ruin that last chance for hanging out with the guys with making the groom do something he won't enjoy? Why don't you do something like re-enacting Ferris Bueller's Day Off? Find a bunch of fun stuff to do in town and just have fun together |

Re: Bachelor party ideas for Lame Groom (No strippers, no clubs)
In all seriousness: trip on mushrooms. That's an activity that doesn't need booze and won't lead to strippers like booze will. It's pretty special/memorable among friends and is something most people don't do all that often.
