LOL, good idea. There should be a place where guys can get together with their friends for a quick kancho.

BJJ issn't just a great martial art.
its the best thing life can bring you (obv right after poker).

You'll get hooked after a few training sessions..but as said..teacher credentials first before joining anything...

Pro mma fighter with a solid record is obv the best you can get, because those are the ones actually focussing on the more effective stuff, and street defence, rather than too fancy gi chokes.

I have a blackbelt teacher from brazil...here in the netherlands, trained for 25 years, most of it under Carlson Gracie Sr. and i only have to pay 40 euro's a month.

The gym itself is crap though, filthy matts and everything. Wish we had something like ATT here, but there aren't even gyms here with an octagon lol.

He's thinking of oil check, which is basically the white people's version of Kancho, or as the Korean people call it, ddong chee.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, an oil change is hella nastier than an oil check. It's a semi-rare move in wrestling b/c it's just soooo wrong. It's sometimes called "5 on 2". Think about it.

I agree..unfortunatly he's the only blackbelt in Amsterdam, and one of the best..so i can't miss out.

obv i wear a rashguard mostly under my gi. haven't got skin infections in 2 years i train there..so ill probably will be fine.
