BJJ issn't just a great martial art.
its the best thing life can bring you (obv right after poker). You'll get hooked after a few training sessions..but as said..teacher credentials first before joining anything... Pro mma fighter with a solid record is obv the best you can get, because those are the ones actually focussing on the more effective stuff, and street defence, rather than too fancy gi chokes. I have a blackbelt teacher from brazil...here in the netherlands, trained for 25 years, most of it under Carlson Gracie Sr. and i only have to pay 40 euro's a month. The gym itself is crap though, filthy matts and everything. Wish we had something like ATT here, but there aren't even gyms here with an octagon lol. |

Ugh. There's no excuse for filthy mats. [/ QUOTE ] I agree..unfortunatly he's the only blackbelt in Amsterdam, and one of the best..so i can't miss out. obv i wear a rashguard mostly under my gi. haven't got skin infections in 2 years i train there..so ill probably will be fine. |
