You are definitely getting rigged. If you think about it, it makes perfect sense. Poker sites would obviously benefit if they picked a few players at random to rig, so that those players would lose their money to other players. Don't you see?

You have a few options here as I see it.

- You could get another account at FTP and hope that it doesn't get selected to be rigged.
- You could move to Stars and hope they don't give you a rigged account.
- You could cash out and go play at casinos where you can't get rigged and will therefore win.

Also, a big LOL to everyone who says $7600 isn't enough to play 5/10 NL. Maybe you guys missed the part where OP said he can only sit with $1,000 and he uses the rest to top off. Or maybe you guys don't understand that it would be almost impossible to go on a 7 buyin downswing unless you happened to start getting rigged in which case you'd lose ANY size bankroll.

[censored] your right im gonna move off of ftp b4 this happens to me

Are some of you guys serious? This guy is just an awful player. There's nothing rigged about any of this [censored]. Anyone who actually thinks poker sites are rigged are fooling themselves. How can you guys have so many posts and still be so misguided?
lol
I has a gutshot? Of course they be stealing your gutshot. You're boned, drawing dead, etc. Give it up. The way you posted these hands is atrocious. Everything is pukeworthy.

There have been many studies about online gaming sites and the random number algorithms used. There is no conceivable way for anyone, Annie Duke or Phil Ivey or Boatman, to rig things to increase the rake. People in this thread who say otherwise are dangerously deluded about their own level of skill.

Stop getting in this huge pots with crap hands. Learn some pot control. Get in one little pot, and your mom got scared, she said "You’re moving with your auntie and uncle in bel-air."

I begged and pleaded with her the other day, but she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way. She gave me a kissin’ and she gave me my ticket; I put my walkman on and said I might as well kick it.

Everyone learn some common sense before you post in a thread like this. I can't even read half the [censored] in here with a straight face.

ill be honest, with this being bbv im finding it hard to know whether or not this is serious. I normally just stay out of these quasi sarcastic threads for fear of looking like a spaztard but mate, is this really for real? How long have you been playing the game? it seems as though you havent really got a grasp yet of the variance involved and Im just kinda worried that your a bit in over your head. Theres plenty of threads about proper bankroll management, but suffice it to say you need to be able to loose a fair few buy ins without worrying or altering your correct and optimum style of play, cos [censored] does happen. A lot.

I just feel if youd been playing long enough to be playing this high youd know all this already, hence im thinking about not clicking continue for fear of looking a tit. Alas my good natured side just cant let you loose all your $$.

I've been playing for nearly 2 years, mostly at low stake tournament level (that's all that's on offer here live) or cash games when I'm overseas Amsterdam/Vegas/Melbourne...but I'm now moving up to 2/4 or 5/10 cash tables online to try to build a bankroll.

Having never really played cash games for any length of time, I am not aware of these massive swings.

My question is still, is the website rigging me or is this normal fluxuation that would occur with live cards??

shortline,

Hey, way to make a bunch of unsubstantiated claims buddy.

Most of the gibberish you wrote makes absolutely no sense. I pretty much read your entire post as "I don't know what I'm talking about so here's the theme song from an old tv show."

Anyway, I'm fairly certain I never said the sites themselves were rigged, only that certain accounts are, which I already explained why they would do that. If they don't do that, then why am I up big on Stars but down on Full Tilt? Maybe you can explain that to me.

Also, you can obv call with a gutshot if they bets are small, which OP stated they were.

Go back to OOT or wherever it is you came from.

Wiggs73 - thanks for your comments, at least someone's reading my ENTIRE post and not what they want to read!

Shortline - I have no idea what you're talking about. If I'm an awful player, how did I go from $1200 to $9000 in 30 days dead (average 10 hours a week) playing with PROFESSIONAL poker players at the 5/10???? Obviously I'm a total donkey who 'just got lucky'.

I would challenge anyone to lay down a full house with a flush on the board and half your stack committed already.

I've played about 400-500 hands the last time I checked. I would need to verify the exact number.
