Really not sure, probably not enough that I beat to make it good, and after thinking about it I'd probably just check/fold. But of course whenever we get confused, pushhhhhhh.

Obviously I embrace the latter concept fully. And, just to clarify, you think a check-fold is better than check-call? I was in the c/c camp.

Hm. I think if the river is more of a blank, its a must shove here. With it being this, I can't come up with a better line than a shove, so i think ur play is fine.

So what was super wrong with check-calling to induce a bet from an Ace or a bluff from strong Tens/missed clubs?

Since he requested time, he might have had a crapola Ace and thrown out a value bet.

I like check call. if u bet i think he folds most things u beat that might bet if u check (strong aces). Check fold completely baffles me, can someone explain this to me? MAYYE if this wasn't cap NL, but we are ahead way more than the 28-30%

Shortstack play is probably the only thing that I have way more experience in than most people here.

hi cts,

may be a silly question depending on durrr's betting frequencies but did you consider checkraising to cap on the turn? would durrr bet enough hands there? seems like after limping preflop then calling flop it'd be tough for him to resist.
